The past months have been spent on site at a Pacific NW (US) industrial services company, in the B2B category. My role was to analyze the company, recommend growth strategies, and identify outside financing sources.
Within ninety days for starting to look for money, I was able to locate and bring to the table five solid expressions of interest, including three actual LOIs, from parties ready, willing, and able to do a deal. Three were private equity groups, one a strategic buyer, one a combination of equity/debt.
While searches for investors isn’t ever the easiest task, this makes four straight transactions were I have “shown them the money!” with 2-3 months after beginning my search.
I’ve perfected my methods and rolodex over the past twenty years. I only take on a couple of assignments in this realm annually, and they are usually associated with on or off site advisory services.
Am I expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? The proof is in the results.
I welcome inquiries from companies, VCs, PE groups, banks, and principals worldwide.
